Kaiser Chiefs frontman wants to end Oasis feud

KAISER CHIEFS frontman Ricky Wilson says it's time to end his feud with Noel Gallagher.

He said: "I enjoy all that in a way but people need to realise I'm not saying anything - I'm just being asked about Noel all the time.

"Then I read a damning headline about Oasis but there's no actual quote from me because I have not said it.

"I've had people shouting at me in the street about the feud - a woman yesterday actually - and my hairdresser was saying her dad has even been talking about it.

"Ultimately Oasis are the biggest band in the world and have a new album out which will sell loads. I could easily start laying into them but I can't be bothered."

Ricky also admitted he may already have another celebrity target lined up once he's patched things up with Noel - a battle of wills with London mayor Boris Johnson.

He said: "Apparently I am in a bit of a feud with Boris which I know absolutely nothing about.

"I was in Greece at the weekend and some guy asked me what was happening with me and Boris. He has been saying loads of s*** about me.

"I would think he would have better things to think about."

The Kaisers release new album Off With Their Heads a week tomorrow and Ricky is desperate to let people hear it at last.

He said: "I'm excited but frustrated.

I have one in my hand now but no one else can get it for another week. I just want it out."

RICKY ON NOEL..

Oasis have disappeared up their own a**e. They think they are Led Zeppelin. They're not.

He's really clever because every interview I've done in the last week has mentioned Oasis. He is a publicity machine.

NOEL ON RICKY..

The Monkees haven't split up, they're just going under the name of the Kaiser Chiefs.

I did drugs for 18 years and I never got that bad as to say, 'You know what? I think the Kaiser Chiefs are brilliant'.
