Jodie Prenger clinches victory in musical search

JODIE PRENGER won TV talent search I'd Do Anything last night - securing a lead role in the West End show Oliver!.

As her victory was revealed, she screamed with delight, hugged runner-up Jessie Buckley and said: "All you guys, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

"I'm just so chuffed." But Jessie and third finalist Samantha Barks will also get a shot at stardom from Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, who hopes to find big roles for both.

An insider said: "Andrew has been really impressed by all three girls." Jodie, 28, of Blackpool, won the phone vote after a sing-off against Jessie.

Three Olivers who will appear in the show were chosen earlier by judges Lloyd Webber, John Barrowman, Denise van Outen and Barry Humphries.
