Mel B loses 4st to become new Ultimo girl

MEL B has revealed she shed 4st to become the new Ultimo girl.

The Spice Girl piled on the pounds while pregnant with year-old daughter Angel but thanks to healthy eating and three times-a-week workouts it has all gone.

But she has no intention of following her Spice Girl pal Victoria Beckham down the starvation road to size zero.

She said: "I've always had a bum and boobs.

That's just my shape and I love it. There are size zeros everywhere and I don't really get taken in by that."

Lounging by her pool at her Los Angeles mansion Mel said: "I'm 32 and I've never felt better in my whole life. I don't think age matters.

"You're as young or as old as you feel inside. If I represent women in their 30s, then that's great."

Mel will fly into Scotland next month to promote Ultimo after being signed up by Michelle Mone to replace Sarah Harding as their latest model for £100,000.

The star said: "I've got a TV show starting next month, my clothing line will be out by the end of the year and I'm writing a new album. Life is good."

Mel's heart lies in California - with Angel and Phoenix, nine - and her new film producer husband Stephen Belafonte.

She said: "I've lived in LA for six years and I'm still not bored. I'll never come back to Britain."
