Movies out Now: 28 Weeks Later and My Best Friend

28 WEEKS LATER (18)

The long-awaited sequel to gory British zombie flick 28 Days Later, which saw the UK's population wiped out by a virus. A new version surfaces and the US soldiers involved in the clean-up are quickly caught up in a gorefest.

NIGHT OF THE SUNFLOWERS (18)

A powerful study of the eradication of idyllic, old-fashioned rural life by firsttime director Jorge Sanchez-Cabezudo. A city girl wrongly identifies a man who assaulted her. Serious but worth seeing.

MY BEST FRIEND (12A)

A pathetically contrived film which makes little sense. It's a comedy-drama about an antique dealer (Daniel Auteil) who becomes obsessed with a vase and takes on a bet involving a fictional best friend. Terrible.

THE ALL TOGETHER (15)

A strange and introspective film set in a house. A cast including Martin Freeman and Danny Dyer struggle with plodding material and idiotic narration. Dyer is a wannabe gangster who takes control of the home - but not the film, sadly.

GOODBYE BAFANA (15)

A cheerless tale about the relationship between Nelson Mandela and his jailer. Joseph Fiennes is the ambitious warder assigned to guard him in 1968 and moved with him through various jails over 20 years. Stirring but overly long.
