BORAT (15)
Nothing short of sensational, this work of genius is undoubtedly the pinnacle of Sacha Baron Cohen's career so far. He's learned from the truly terrible Ali G movie and stuck with the telly format that works so well, introducing his freakish character to real life people and letting them make fools of themselves.

SIXTY SIX (12A)
This British film focuses on the rather anonymous 12-year-old Bernie (Gregg Sulkin) in the run-up to his bar mitzvah - which happens to be the same day as the 1966 World Cup Final, so no one is interested in the boy's big day. A fairly bland film, frankly it left me cold. Must try harder.

WAIST DEEP (15)
A gangsta drama with staple of the genre Tyrese Gibson starring alongside The Game. Gibson is 02, an ex-con trying to go straight for the sake of son Junior. But the boy ends up in the hands of LA gang boss Meat (The Game), so the devoted dad has to delve back into the underworld. Formulaic but fun.

ASPHALT JUNGLE (PG)
A re-release for the Marilyn Monroe flick that was one of legendary director John Huston's finest hours. As for the blonde bombshell, she's only in the film for a short time but stands out as a truly impressive actress. It's a classic heist gone wrong tale that looks as good as ever. Worth seeing.

SCENES OF A SEXUAL NATURE (15)
An interesting premise but this quirky film is overwhelmingly pointless - nothing really happens. It's Lost In Translation set in Hampstead Heath - and that is a pretty dire condemnation. Ewan McGregor stars as we follow the events of various people's day. Chronic.
