GLASGOW was birling last night as the Eurovision Dance Contest twirled into town.
Millions of viewers across Europe tuned in to BBC1's live coverage from the SECC, hosted by Graham Norton, Claudia Winkleman and Carol Smillie.
The final saw 15 couples compete, with Strictly Come Dancing's Louisa Lytton and Vincent Simone representing Britain.
The competition was eventually won by Poland, with the UK limping into ninth place.
Carol insisted: "There's no place better to go dancin' on a Saturday night than Glasgow."
