Former kids TV host Angellica Bell opens hearts on failed romance

STUNNING TV presenter Angellica Bell has opened her heart over the break-up with her Scots husband.

The 32-year-old former CBBC host split from ex-RAF parachutist Stuart Armory just 18 months after their fairytale wedding in Drumtochty Castle, Kincardineshire.

Angellica - who is hosting new reality show CelebAir - is now dating GMTV's Michael Underwood.

She said: "I was filming in Edinburgh last week and going to Scotland made me think about a lot of things.

"It's been a difficult time. Working in TV is a tricky business and put a lot of pressure on. It wasn't right for either of us. It took a lot of heartache but it was the right thing to do.

"Stuart is a great guy and I wish him all the happiness in the world."

Angellica - who also presents for BBC1's The One Show - revealed her joy at her romance with Underwood, who she has known since her days on children's TV.

She said: "I didn't want to get into a relationship right away. I was all over the place. But he's been a friend for a long time and that says a lot. We worked together, travelled together and understand the work we are in."

Angellica can't wait to take off with CelebAir, ITV2's reality show which sees celebrities work as cabin crew on real holiday flights with Monarch Airlines flying from Gatwick.

They include singers Mica Paris and Lisa Scott-Lee, IT girl Tamara Beckwith and X Factor loser Chico.

Angellica said: "It's hard work. They are running about at other people's beck and call but are used to it the other way around."

CelebAir takes off on ITV2 on Tuesday at 9pm.
