EDITH BOWMAN hardly needs a cooking lesson from Gordon Ramsay...she's already had a bun in the oven.
The Radio 1 DJ was expecting baby Rudy when she braved Ramsay's kitchen for TV show The F Word.
Edith takes on the fiery, foulmouthed Scots chef in the mother of all recipe challenges, pitting her expertise with haggis against his.
The DJ is no stranger to the kitchen having grown up working behind the scenes at the Craw's Nest Hotel, the family business which was run by her mum and dad in Anstruther, Fife.
And she is a proud patriot, attending Ewan McGregor's Not Another Burn's Night charity fund-raising ball in London where A-listers are treated to a menu including Irn-Bru and haggis.
An insider said: "Edith knows what she is doing and it's a real challenge for Gordon who is a proud Scot and won't take kindly to be being beaten on something as fundamental as haggis. Expect fireworks if he loses!"
The F Word is on Channel 4 on Tuesday at 8pm.
