Scare star Brianna hates horror films

MOVIE scream queen Brianna Brown insists she is more of a scaredy cat than a sex kitten.

The stunning 28-year-old star is at the mercy of demented blade wielding psychos in the hotly-tipped slasher movie Timber Falls.

She plays a backpacker who is imprisoned in a dungeon where she is tortured by a family of creeps.

Brianna reveals she is too terrified to watch her own movie.

She said: "If there is anything scary on the screen, I scream louder than the girl in the film.

"Now I try to avoid going to scary movies. But if I do see one, I grab the person sitting next to me or peer through my hands."

Brianna - who was in comedy hits The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up - says her fear of scary movies goes back to her childhood in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

She said: "When I was younger I was terrified of horror movies. But I still used to watch films like Friday The 13th or Halloween with a neighbour. Afterwards I was so scared that all those bad things in the movie were going to happen to me. I was so afraid, I wouldn't walk home in the dark by myself.

"So my neighbour would walk me part of the way and then I would run home."

The dungeon scenes in Timber Falls brought back memories of another of Brianna's childhood nightmares.

She said: "I had fears of going into our basement because I was afraid someone was going to attack me.

"Fortunately the dungeon basement in the movie was different because there were so many people from the film crew around. But it was still creepy.

"Apart from being physically tough, the film was emotionally gruelling because I was crying all the time."

After Timber Falls, Brianna is about to be pursued by more weirdos. Her next film is The Lost Tribe, in which she is shipwrecked and encounters a scary tribe of humanoid creatures.
