Justin and Colin on their £2300-a-night honeymoon paradise

Exclusive Tv Duo's Par-Fect Honeymoon On Golf Course

DESIGN gurus Justin Ryan and Colin McAllister celebrated their marriage by losing their virginity...at golf.

The Scots TV stars enjoyed a 16-day honeymoon in the paradise island of Nevis in the Caribbean.

The interior decor experts stayed in a luxurious £2300-per-night private villa at the exclusive Four Seasons resort and relaxed by sinking a few putts on the greens.

Colin, 41, said: "The whole trip was fantastic.

"It was a chance not to do any work and just be a couple again.

"We had spa treatments, went horseriding and even played a round of golf. It was our first time.

"We were golf virgins. We even had a go at night-time crazy golf.

"They had this glow-in-the-dark course with flaming torches and glowing golf balls.

"It was good fun but I think we both still feel golf is a waste of a good walk, to be honest."

Justin, 40, added: "The last thing we wanted was to be in some little, squat room somewhere.

"We would wake up and look out over the Caribbean sea.

"We had a big, four-bedroom villa and you could open doors and take out a whole side of the house to look out over this spectacular vista.

"We would have breakfast by the pool and feed the monkeys.

"It was a personal, reflective time and a good chance to recharge our batteries. And we got a tan." Despite the luxury of their surroundings, Colin revealed they thought they had made a terrible mistake when they first arrived.

He said: "There was the start of a tropical storm. You couldn't see your hand in front of your face, it was so grey and so wet.

"I took a picture of Justin standing next to a sign which said 'Welcome to Nevis'.

"He's from Fort William and it looked like he was in the High Street outside Nevisport."

The boys wed in secret two months ago after 22 years together.

Just two close friends were at the service on February 15 in Chelsea old town hall, London.

But they only got away on honeymoon a couple of weeks ago after a hectic year working in Canada on their new show, Colin and Justin's Home Heist, which has just started in Britain on UKTV.

The Sunday Mail columnists are now back in Canada filming the second series of the show - which has been sold to 20 countries - and are settling into married life.

Justin said: "It does feel different.

We both welcomed the chance to say to people, 'Yes, we are a couple.'

"It was one of those things we had talked about for the longest time but, having been together so long, we didn't want a huge spread.

"Weddings are fab because it's a great way of bringing new families together but ours have known each other for two decades.

"Having been together so long it was almost like renewing our vows.

"Before this we made commitment vows silently - now we have a chance to say, 'We are together.'

"The only downside is everybody knows you are 40!"

Colin and Justin's Home Heist is on UKTV at 8pm Monday to Friday.
