Carol Smillie Returns To Modelling

TELLY queen Carol Smillie has revealed her joy at modelling again after 20 years.

The Postcode Challenge host jetted off to sunny Cape Town in South Africa for a swimwear photoshoot after becoming the new face of knitwear giant Edinburgh Woollen Mill.

The Scots beauty became a household name working on hit shows including Wheel of Fortune and Changing Rooms after she quit catalogue modelling.

Mum-of-three Carol, 46, who lives in Glasgow with restaurateur husband Alex, said: "I thought my swimwear modelling days were over. It was a treat to fly to South Africa and leave the cold, wind and rain.

"But my hotel was full of models. Most were 6ft tall 18-year-old Brazillians - talk about bringing out my insecurities."
