Horny Devil Marti Is On A Witch Hunt

WETS' star Marti Pellow has started witchhunting as he begins rehearsals for his new stage musical.

The singer is helping choose his co-stars for hit show, The Witches Of Eastwick, with theatre mogul Cameron Mackintosh.

Marti starred in his first musical Chicago five years ago and wowed fans on Broadway and in London and Tokyo.

Now he is starring as devilish schemer Daryl Van Horne in the musical version of The Witches Of Eastwick.

He follows in the footsteps of Hollywood star Jack Nicholson who immortalised the role in the original 1987 Oscar-nominated movie.

In the film, Jack plotted with a trio of modern day witches played by Cher, Michelle Pfeiffer and Susan Sarandon.

The team behind Marti's new show have been holding secret casting sessions to find three shapely female co-stars.

The show will play in Southampton, Manchester and Glasgow later this year.

Marti said: "I never thought I'd get to Broadway but I made it. Witches is a huge show with great songs. I can't wait."

On February 4, Wet Wet Wet release new single Weightless and in April Marti embarks on a solo tour to promote his solo jazz album, Sentimental Me.
