What Katie Leung Did Again

Exclusive Harry's Girl Gets Back In On The Act

HARRY POTTER star Katie Leung is making her screen comeback.

The return of the 20-year-old Scots actress to the screen will delight fans who feared she was going to quit drama for good after going to university.

She said her acting would be sacrified because of her determination to devote all her attention to her photography course.

But she is filming the latest Poirot adventure with David Suchet for ITV1.

Katie, from Motherwell, shot to fame as Hogwarts pupil Cho Chang who gave boy wizard Harry (played by Daniel Radcliffe) his first kiss in latest blockbuster Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix.

And she is back in school uniform in Cat Amongst The Pigeons, the new all-star Agatha Christie adaptation which stars Suchet as the Belgian detective.

She plays Hsui Tai, a pupil at a private all-girls school who helps the legendary sleuth solve a murder at the school and the mystery of a kidnapped Middle Eastern princess.

A spokesman for the show said: "We're absolutely delighted to have Katie on board.

"She's a very talented actress and a great addition to the cast.

"She helps Poirot spot a couple of clues which let him piece it all together."

Katie is taking a couple of days out from her studies to film the murder mystery around London and Surrey before continuing with her course.

Cat Amongst The Pigeons, which also features Antonement star Harriet Walter, Spooks spy Miranda Raison and This Life's Natasha Little, will be screened next year.
