CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC **** (PG)
The lovely Isla Fisher gets her first big role in this adaptation of a Sophie Kinsella novel. She's Rebecca, a shopping addict out to land her dream job at a fashion mag. For a fun, easy film, this is perfect.
CHE ***** (15)
Split into two parts for general release, here at last we have the complete superbly sprawling tale of Che Guevara. With a masterful turn from Benicio Del Toro in the lead role, Steven Soderbergh's epic is a must-see.
BORN SURVIVOR **** (E)
Bear Grylls might be a bit of a fraud - setting up TV shots etc - but his shows are entertaining. Much of that comes from watching the posh bloke eat a slug, worm or beetle, then hurl himself over a cliff while cutting up a big tree. Great fun.
REVOLUTIONARY ROAD *** (15)
Titanic lovers Kate Winslet and Leo Di Caprio jumped at the chance to play April and Frank Wheeler, whose dull life together unravels as their dreams of a fresh start in Paris fall apart. Depressing stuff.
PUSH **** (12)
This enjoyable "normal people with special powers" romp was panned by critics. It's a little bit of X-Men, Heroes and Trainspotting - so what's not to like? The gifted characters bid to escape the establishment. With Camilla Belle, too.
TAPEHEADS ** (15)
A mystifying re-issue for this so-called comedy starring John Cusack and Tim Robbins as Ivan and Josh, security guards who get sacked for having a party at work then set up as music video producers. Just silly.
