Scrubs star Zach Braff (above right) teams up with the lovely Amanda Peet (above left). Braff is Tom, happily married to Sofia until he ends up working under her ex Chip (Jason Bateman), who is out to win her back.

David Fincher's thriller is based on the true story of the never-caught Zodiac serial killer in 60s and 70s San Francisco, who left strange clues which captured the imagination of cartoonist Robert Graysmith (Jake Gyllenhaal, above).

TRIBE BOX SET (15)

The best telly showforyears. Host Bruce Parry (above) is hard-as-nails yet immensely likeable, living with remote tribes for a month at a time and putting himself through all sorts of hell. Top stuff, top bloke.

UGLY BETTY: SEASON ONE (12)

I know lots of ladies love this programme but I simply don't get the appeal. Ugly duckling Betty (America Ferrera, above left) works for a fashion magazine and, er, that's about it really. Wonderful for women, dire for men.
