COLUMBO SERIES 5 (PG)
Grumpy, gruff old telly 'tec roams around solving murders episode after episode, outsmarting the blatantly clueless killers each time. It's so boring - I just don't see the appeal of these ropey old crime shows.
NAKED VIDEO SERIES 3 (12)
The hit 80s sketch show gives a look at the early careers of comedy stars such as Gregor Fisher, Andy Gray and Helen Lederer. It's a bit hit and miss at times but generally the sketches are of a good standard and come thick and fast.
MAGNUM PI SERIES 5 (12)
God, life was grim in the 80s. It's hard to believe Tom Selleck's tache and geeky shorts were seen as the height of cool. He's a private detective who solves cases on his tropical island, drives a Ferrari and always gets the girl.
THE DETECTIVES SERIES 4 (12)
Yes, Jasper Carrott being amusing - wonders never cease. He and Robert Powell star as bumbling cops careering through a series of disastrous investigations. Silly in a slapstick sort of way.
THE GUARDIAN (15)
Yawn. Kevin Costner stars as a coastguard rescue swimmer reassigned to training after a disaster. He meets cocky swimming champ Ashton Kutcher. The usual sparks fly, then they become friends blah, blah, blah.
