Basketball: Scots Hoop Heroes Are Rock Stars

SCOTLAND'S Under-16 stars tasted European Championship success in Gibraltar last week.

The men's team beat Wales 102-39 in the Division C Final after seeing off Monaco, Malta and the hosts.

Clark-Eriksson Fury's Ali Fraser was the tournament's MVP and top scorer with an average of 30 points per game.

He and team-mate Jonny Bunyan were also voted into the event's All Star Five line-up.

The win was a huge step for the Scottish game as the teenagers try to emulate ex-Fury star Kieron Achara who is training with Chicago Bulls and is in the Great Britain Olympic squad.
