ARNAUD CLEMENT is looking to beat his best Wimbledon performance by reaching the quarter-finals.
The Frenchman booked his last-16 place with victory over Austrian Jurgen Melzer in four sets yesterday.
It's the third time Clement has reached round four - he did it in 2001 and 2002 - but has never been beyond that stage.
He said: "It's great to be in the fourth round but I want to go one better because I've never been there."
Former Australian Open finalist Clement lost the first set 6-4 to Melzer who had never reached a Grand Slam last 16.
But complete with wacky headgear and shades Clement hit back in fine style to take the next three 6-3 6-4 6-4.
