Bruno Hope Lifts Hearts

INJURY-hit Hearts midfielder Bruno Aguiar could return to action tomorrow - a year to the day since last pulling on a shirt.

The 27-year-old Portguese player has endured a miserable 12 months after being dogged by an ankle problem that required surgery.

But Aguiar has been slowly battling back to fitness and is in line to feature in a reserve clash with Dundee United at Forthbank.

He last played in a 2-1 defeat at Rangers on April 21 last year.

Caretaker coach Stevie Frail said: "I'm hopeful Bruno will play some part of the game.

"It's been a long road for him but if he does well, there is a chance he could play in the last couple of SPL games which would give him a tremendous boost."
