ST MIRREN boss Gus MacPherson admits Barca's dismantling of Celtic was the best team display he's ever seen in the flesh.
But he left Parkhead praying his side aren't taught a similar lesson by Gordon Strachan's men today.
Gus knows the gap between Barcelona and the Hoops is similar to the gulf between Celtic and his side.
But he still believes the Buddies can take something from the game. He said: "Barca were outstanding. It was an education seeing guys like Deco in full flow.
"In terms of ball retention that's as good as I've ever seen in the flesh.
"But Celtic coming here back down to our level will be dangerous as they'll all be desperate to get on the ball.
"We must try to press Celtic and force them into mistakes. If we work hard as a unit we've got a chance."
