STEPHEN HUGHES reckons a five-game flourish from Motherwell can put them back in pole position for a Euro re-run.
Despite a ropey start to the season and a Euro exit at the first hurdle, last week's win over St Mirren at least hauled Well away from the bottom of the SPL.
And with Falkirk today, followed by Kilmarnock, Inverness and Hamilton, the 25-year-old insists it's the perfect chance to recapture the magic of last season. He said: "We need to up it and bit and Falkirk is a massive game.
"If we win, then it's not looking too bad before the international break and before we face Kilmarnock.
"We'll come good. We've too much quality in the squad not to.
"We want to finish third again. We've had a taste of European football and it's what we want again. Everyone at the club has been buzzing since we qualified for Europe - that's the incentive."
Hughes (right) added: "It's still early doors and we've played the top six in our games so far.
"After a couple of good results everything will be rosy again.
"There is still a lot to play for and no-one is hitting the panic button yet. We're not far a way."
