KILLIE boss Jim Jefferies slammed referee Crawford Allan's decision to award the free-kick which led to St Mirren's last-gasp winner at Love Street.
Jeff said: "It was totally unjust. Jim Hamilton used all his experience against young Ryan O'Leary. If it was a free-kick, then it should have been for us.
"I was giving one of the defenders stick for the marking at the free-kick but Alan Combe said he gave a shout. However, he got caught and Will Haining nipped in to score. It's typical of the way things have been going for us this season. We lost Simon Ford at half-time with a hamstring injury but, to be fair, St Mirren had passed the ball better than us in the first half.
"However, I thought we competed well in the second half and came into it more."
Scotland Under-21 defender O'Leary couldn't remember the clash with Hamilton that led to Buddies' winner and was gutted at the outcome.
He said: "It has been a long season and we just want to get it out of the way and prepare for the next campaign."
