Jamie Can Forget Goal Claim

DANNY INVINCIBILE last night dismissed claims team-mate Jamie Hamill snatched Killie's winner and insisted: It's my goal.

Invincible was credited with the strike that saw off St Mirren.

But when it was suggested the ball could have been over the line before he touched it the forward said: "Well I'm taking it. The keeper caught it and then dropped it as he was challenged by Hamill and it has landed straight on the line. I just tapped it in.

"I don't think I could have missed it but I made sure I turned it into the net."

The Australian also shrugged off the controversy over the goal with Buddies claiming keeper Chris Smith had been fouled by Hamill (left).

Invincibile said: "In this game you take what you can get. If it was given as a free-kick it would have been soft."

The Rugby Park side leapfrogged St Mirren with the win.

Invincibile said: "We're struggling and the season has been tough so this is a relief. It's good for morale."
