Clach 0-4 Inverness Caley

INVERNESS threatened to demolish Clach with a four-goal blast in the first half before taking their foot off the gas.

Ex-Manchester United trialist Sean Evans showed a few flashes to impress Craig Brewster in a tough work-out.

The SPL side gave summer signings Andy Barrowman and Lionel Djebi-Zadi a first run-out at Grant Street Park.

Brewster's troops opened the scoring after 25 minutes when a clever double one-two saw Don Cowie threading in Doug Imrie to crack an angled shot past keeper David Harrison.

Cowie made it two 10 minutes later before Ian Black tapped in number three.

And David Proctor rounded off a blistering first half with a powerful header from Barry Wilson's cross.
