Brewster: We'll Finish In Bottom Six

CRAIG BREWSTER last night wrote off Caley's hopes of clambering back into the top six.

And the boss wants his troops to concentrate on rediscovering their goal touch.

Brewster refused to lay the blame for their defeat to Falkirk on his strikers. But Caley have now scored just four goals in nine games without a win. And Brew said: "The top six is well gone now. When you don't score you don't win and that has become the story for us lately.

"Whether we are choosing the wrong options, not getting enough bodies into the box or lacking quality in the balls we send in, we can only work on it.

"It's not good enough from a team who had a terrific spell mid-season and are certainly capable of much better.

"Now it is about pride as much as anything for the rest of the campaign because I'm sure the lads don't want to see the season fade away from them."

Brewster (right) felt a draw would have been fairer on his team.

He said: "I didn't see either side scoring for long enough as both were defensively strong."
