Clayton blasts Mixu

BITTER Clayton Donaldson took an angry swipe at old gaffer Mixu Paatelainen last night after escaping his Hibs hell.

The 24-year-old striker said his face just didn't fit under the new Easter Road regime - and he's glad of a fresh start at Crewe.

He said: "When the new boss came in I was dropped straight away. It was quite bizarre and I never started a game after that.

"I knew straight away that I needed to find somewhere else to play my football.

"The manager wanted to bring in his own players.

"So the sooner I got out the better because I just want to be playing football and doing what I do best - which is scoring."
