GRETNA chief executive Graeme Muir laughed off rumours that they were on the road to administration last week.
Cynics claimed the club's fairytale was over when players failed to receive their wages on time as owner Brooks Mileson lay in a hospital bed.
But Muir has heard it all before and insists Gretna aren't in danger.
He said: "When we were in the Third Division it was going around that we were heading for administration. And it has followed us through the leagues.
"So it came as no surprise when rumours started again. But the players have now been paid.
"Our debt was written off by Brooks. That's the commitment of the man. Some clubs are millions in debt but not us."
