GRETNA gaffer Davie Irons has admitted his relief at holding on to in-demand Aurelien Collin - but fears the defender will be snapped up in the summer.
Italian giants Lazio, Sheffield United, Wolves and Coventry were linked with the French ace, 21, who has thrived despite the Borderers' SPL woes.
Irons was glad to see him stay last month but admits Collin, who has 18 months left on his deal, may not be around long.
He said: "If Lazio were interested we didn't get a phone call. But I know clubs down south are watching him.
"If he keeps playing well that will remain the case although we're pleased he's with us."
