RANGERS assistant boss Ally McCoist got a close-up look at UEFA Cup Final opponents Zenit St Petersburg last night but insisted they will be 10 times better in Manchester.
The Ibrox No.2 jetted out to Alkmaar straight after Gers' 3-1 win over Dundee United to see Dick Advocaat's men draw with AZ in a friendly.
The game was played at a snail's pace but McCoist believes it was a worthwhile trip.
He said: "They have a lot more in the tank. But it was great to watch them in terms of set-pieces and their general shape.
"Fatih Tekke and Igor Denisov stood out but Zenit don't have any outstanding individuals.
"They weren't anything like at full pelt - they will be 10 times more competitive on Wednesday.
"But we could certainly pose them problems. We have boys who could damage Zenit and are capable of scoring against them."
