KENNY MILLER reckons his partnership with Kris Boyd is more than simply graft meets craft - but he'll still be happy to tee his sidekick up every week on the way to a treble.
The pair were tipped as Walter Smith's striking dream team this season but haven't been paired up until the last two league matches.
Now Miller says a bit of time together on the pitch is all the hitmen need to click into gear.
He said: "The Kilmarnock game was our first real outing together and it was good.
"For him to get the double was great, they were big goals. Against Motherwell it never happened for either of us. We were creating chances and 2-1 might sound like a tight game but it was anything but.
"We could have had four or five had we been more clinical.
"But any partnership needs time. We get on great off the field and I think our games can work on it too.
"It's not as simple as me doing the running and Boydy scoring the goals though - there's a lotmore to it than that.
"There will be games where I score and he doesn't which knocks that theory away.
"But I will be more than happy as long as I'm playing and we are successful. If I don't score and Boydy gets 50 goals on the way to the title and two cups then great."
No matter who's up front though, Miller believes any striker is going to be in clover when Barry Ferguson finally takes his place alongside Pedro Mendes next month.
He said: "Pedro's touch, his passing and vision are just incredible. As a forward it's a joy to play with him.
"Any Rangers fan or player will be looking forward to the day we have Pedro and Fergie in the same midfield.
"It shows the strength of the squad. We've not even talked about Kevin Thomson and the great job he is doing and did last year.
"We've got such great quality in midfield."
