SPURS star Tom Huddlestone has warned Rangers to be wary of Aalborg after the Danish side almost caused a major shock at White Hart Lane last season.
Bruce Rioch's men could be the opposition for Gers in the Champions League third qualifying round - if the Scots dispose of Kaunas on Tuesday.
The Ibrox side will fancy their chances against Aalborg but Tottenham midfielder Huddlestone isn't so sure.
The Danes led his team 2-0 at half-time in their UEFA Cup group clash before Juande Ramos' stars triumphed 3-2.
And Huddlestone admits Aalborg shocked Spurs with their quality in the first 45 minutes.
He said: "We didn't start at our best and were two down at half-time.
"In the second halfwe got possession and managed to win. Without being disrespectful we didn't know too much about Aalborg but they gave us a great game and deservedly led at the break.
"They took us by surprise in that spell as there's only so much you can know about a team through watching videos.
"They were an unknown team from an unknown league but played so well.
"I haven't seen much of Rangers and I'd imagine they'll be pleased with the draw considering some of the teams they could have faced.
"But it will be a difficult game for them if our match is anything to go by.
"Rangers are a big club and should be fine but in the Champions League you can't take anyone lightly."
Huddlestone is now a team-mate of former Rangers full-back Alan Hutton who sealed a £9million move to London in January.
The England squad man isn't surprised Hutton has settled into the Premiership with ease - after watching him dazzle for Scotland.
Tom said: "It's like Alan has been at Spurs for years. He fits right into our style of play. He likes to bomb down the wing, is energetic and good on the ball.
"I'd seen a lot of him in Scotland's Euro qualifiers and he was probably their best player. He gets on with the lads and is doing the business on the pitch.
"He has a slight injury that has kept him out of the pre-season games. But we're all hoping he's back for the start of the season because he's a vital player."
