RANGERS' on-loan midfielder Steve Davis was sold on a move to Scotland by international teammate Stephen Craigan.
The Fulham star asked his Motherwell mate about the SPL switch and Craigan advised him to give it a go.
Davis picked Craigan's brain before Northern Ireland's friendly against Bulgaria last month.
The midfielder said: "I talked to David Healy, Chris Baird and Aaron Hughes about the move.
"When Stephen met up with the squad I took a bit of time to speak to him because he has been playing in the SPL for many years.
"Everything he said made me more excited and convinced me it was the right move."
