RANGERS boss Walter Smith reflected on 32 years of coaching experience and admitted he's far more mellow now he has hit the age of 60.
The Ibrox gaffer celebrates his birthday today as his side face Gretna at a crucial stage in the season that could make or break his second spell in charge.
And Smith insists he's a changedman from the one who led Gers' to nine-in-a-row. He said: "I don't feel as tense as I did in my first spell here as manager.
"Maybe getting older is a factor. I'm sure Norman Mailer once said 'there aren't many good things about getting old but one is you don't give a f*** anymore'.
"That's possibly true. I don't get so angry as quickly now - everything slows down at this age I suppose!"
