Gers Are No Go To Hitman Hugo
WERDER BREMEN hitman Hugo Almeida admits he fears Rangers and insists they shouldn't even be in the UEFA Cup.
The Portuguese striker was gutted when he heard the Ibrox club had beaten Panathinaikos to set up a last 16 showdown with the Bundesliga outfit.
And Almeida (left) reckons Walter Smith's side should still be in the Champions League instead of Lyon.
He said: "I'd have preferred Panathinaikos in the next round but Rangers deserve their success.
"I watched some of their matches in the Champions League and they were unfortunate.
"They should be getting ready for the quarter-finals instead of Lyon. It will be a big game for both clubs but we'll be prepared."
