RANGERS' Champions League Group E rivals Lyon kept their four-point lead at the top of Ligue 1 thanks to a 2-0 home win against Valenciennes.

Juninho put Lyon ahead in the 38th minute and sub Sidney Govou added a late second. On-loan Ranger Filip Sebo was in the Valenciennes line-up.

Chris Malonga hit the winner as second-placed Nancy beat Bordeaux 1-0 at the Stade Marcel Picot.
