John's budget warning

JOHN HUGHES has warned his Falkirk bosses the big bucks they've spent in the summer won't guarantee them the sweet spot they crave in the top six.

Yogi had his every desire catered for by the board over the summer but knows he still can't match his rivals for cash.

Hughes said: "I was asked if we'd make the top six and I said 'No, this will keep us in the SPL.'

I don't have the budget of Rangers, Celtic, Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen, Motherwell or Dundee United."
