Raith Rovers 0-4 Dundee United

WARREN FEENEY grabbed a hat-trick in Dundee United's four-goal romp as the Tannadice side geared up to face Barcelona next weekend.

But the on-loan Cardiff striker insists he's more focused on the SPL opener with Hamilton than the glamour clash with the Catalans.

Feeney said: "It's great to score a hat-trick and these friendlies are good for building up confidence but themain thing is being in the best shape possible for the Hamilton game."

The Northern Ireland star didn't take long to impress the travelling support with the striker bagging two goals inside the first 10 minutes. Noel Hunt set him up for the first after he charged down a clearance and Feeney then headed in Sean Dillon's cross to double the lead.

The 27-year-old made it 3-0 from the spot in 53 minutes after Willo Flood was pole-axed inside the area before Hunt rounded of the scoring after being put through by Morgaro Gomis.

Raith Rovers gaffer John McGlynn said: "We gave away a goal at the start and gave ourselves an uphill battle."
