DUNDEE UNITED loan star Willo Flood isn't bothered about missing Cardiff's glory run to Wembley and insists lifting the CIS Cup would be the greatest moment of his life.
The Irish midfielder is on loan from the Championship side who meet Barnsley in the FA Cup semi-final next month.
Flood could have been part of Dave Jones' squad for Wembley but is far happier heading to Hampden.
He has been a key part of the Arabs' run to the CIS Final and would love to get his hands on a winner's medal today.
Willo said: "It would be the biggest achievement of my life to lift this trophy. Hopefully that dream will come true against Rangers.
"There are 20 of my family over from Ireland and I want to celebrate with them at the end.
"I haven't really been thinking about Cardiff because I'm focused on United.
"But I'm pleased for the boys at City and they're buzzing about going to Wembley.
"A few of the English lads have been saying it's a bigger occasion going to Wembley than Hampden but I've told them: 'At least I'm in a final - you're not there yet!'.
"I've had a few texts from them wishing me all the best.
"I don't know where I'll be next season but I haven't ruled out staying in Scotland. If the clubs can agree a fee maybe I won't move."
However, after getting sent off twice for United early on Flood (right) feared his loan deal would be a disaster.
He said: "I had a nightmare start in Scottish football. At that point I was thinking the worst but it has worked out well."
