RUSSELL LATAPY watched 90 minutes of CIS Cup football wreck Falkirk's season earlier this year - now he's hoping another 90 can have the opposite effect and kick-start a torrid term.

Bairns' 3-0 semi-final defeat by Kilmarnock was followed by seven straight losses that ruined their Scottish Cup and SPL top six hopes.

Latapy said: "That Killie result knocked us back badly but beating Dundee United on Tuesday can kick-start our campaign this time."
