WATCHING Euro 2008 has got me itching to put the boots back on and I'll start my own pre-season tomorrow.

We don't officially report back to Lennoxtown until July 2 but I've had three-and-half weeks off and it's time for a run and a few sessions in the gym.

I felt I had a strong end to the season and want to pick up from where I left off.

There will be competition for places and I don't want to be left behind. I want to be a first-choice pick for Celtic and plan to make it difficult for boss Gordon Strachan to leave me out this season.
