Kenny McDowall backs Neil Lennon's Celtic return

IBROX coach Kenny McDowall was stunned by Neil Lennon's return to Parkhead - but believes it could turn out to be a clever move by Celts.

He said: "I was surprised at first then I thought it was a natural thing for them to do - to bring someone in with his passion for Celtic.

"Good luck to him. I had a great relationship with Neil. He and Alan Thompson were doing their coaching badges when I was at Celtic and I helped them out by setting up activities with the young players."
