SCOTT McDONALD reckons it's no bad thing Celtic are out of the Champions League - as they can now concentrate on winning the title and the Scottish Cup.
The Hoops head to Aberdeen this afternoon on Cup duty as they bid to cure their Euro hangover after the defeat to Barcelona.
And as the Aussie striker looks ahead to Wednesday's league clash with Dundee United he believes the double is still within reach.
Scott said: "Now we can concentrate on the title. The goal this season was to win the league - everyone in our dressing-room and the fans are desperate for us to do that.
"But it would be nice to get the Scottish Cup as well."
McDonald (right) enjoyed his run in Europe and hopes for more next season.
He said: "The Nou Camp was just a great experience but I don't think we really expected to go there and get a result.
"We created a few chances but Barca are an excellent side and I'd fully expect them to win it or at least get to the final.
"I've had a taste and now I want more. To do that we have to win the league this year.
"Making the last 16 was a huge highlight for us, maybe after the first game not too many people expected that to happen.
"The whole European trip has been great and hopefully we'll be back again next year.
"We'll take confidence, learn from it and become better players next season."
