ABERDEEN boss Jimmy Calderwood has been given the lowdown on Bayern Munich from an old school pal who has already done his homework on the German giants.
Ex-Bolton coach Ricky Sbragia was in the dug-out in Munich when his side snatched a point in the UEFA Cup group stages this season.
And Ricky - who grew up with Caldo in Glasgow and attended the same school - is advising his old pal to take a route one approach against Bayern.
The Sunderland coach said: "We played 4-5-1 at Bolton and caused them a lot of problems with our direct play.
"They're a big side but not physical. It's no use playing a passing game. You have to hit the front man and pick up the scraps."
