CHRIS CLARK said an emotional farewell to Aberdeen fans - then revealed he could still be playing for them next week.
The midfielder is poised for a £200,000 move to Plymouth after 10 years at Pittodrie.
Clark took a bow in front of more than 2100 travelling supporters after Jimmy Calderwood's men earned a 2-2 draw.
Despite jeers from some fans ringing in his ears throughout the game, he got a standing ovation from them at the end.
But Clark later insisted he may still be an Aberdeen player long-term.
He said: "There is nothing definite at the moment. If I am playing for Aberdeen next week then so be it.
"I went to the fans at the end because I really appreciate their support. They got right behind us, as they always do.
"A fewmade their feelings known but it was just a handful and it died out as the game went on.
"It has been a tough week for the rest of the boys and we knew we were in for a hard game as Falkirk play good football.
"But we stood up to it and are still in the cup. In fact we are in all the competitions."
Clark has been at Pittodrie for a decade but admitted he fears his career is stalling and is looking for a new challenge.
He said: "I've seen players moving on like Russell Anderson and Kevin McNaughton and it was something I wanted to try.
"I have been at the club a long time and enjoyed it, especially finishing third in the league last year and doing well in Europe.
"That is such a high but I didn't want to find myself going stale. That is why I want to try English football.
"Aberdeen are a wonderful club and I've been well looked after but I am looking to move on. If I'm still at Aberdeen next week I will carry on as normal."
