BEAMING Berwick boss Alan McGonigal hailed his comeback men after they claimed a battling draw.
The Borderers welcomed back a host of players and were only foiled by a late goal.
McGonigal said: "We brought back a few players and it gave the team a timely boost.
"I thought we were the better side."
The Loons went in front in 21 minutes.
Kevin McLeish netted from the spot after Jamie Ewart floored Jonathan Russell.
Berwick levelled in 42 minutes when Darren Gribben scored a penalty after David Dunn's foul on JimLister. The striker put the home side ahead with a spot-kick on the hour after Sean Kilgannon fouled Craig Anderson.
But sub Graham Gibson levelled in 79 minutes to salvage a point.
Forfar gaffer Dick Campbell said: "Their goals came fromsoft penalties but that's the way it goes. I'm the more disappointed of the two managers."
