ANGRY boss Harry Cairney slated his cocky Annan stars after Pat Walker ended their unbeaten run with a glorious brace.
Walker bagged the opener then hit a stunning 40-yard third for Albion after Annan had fought back from two down.
And Cairney said: "Albion deserved to win. Too many of our guys weren't up for it. I warned them against complacency because I was worried about us being favourites for the first time.
"Some of our guys decided we already had the game won."
Walker fired home a low shot in 23 minutes before Robert Barr hit the second with a crisp effort.
Derek Townsley hauled Annan back in it with a 20-yarder in 33 minutes and on the hour Kevin Neilson headed them level.
But Walker restored Rovers' lead with an amazing effort in 72 minutes and sub Marc Pollock wrapped up the points late on.
Albion chief Paul Martin said: "We showed bottle to win it. Pat's second goal was sensational."
