Forfar 0-1 Elgin

RAGING Dick Campbell blamed ref Steven McLean after his 10-man Loons were sunk by a Steve MacKay winner.

Boss Campbell was incensed by Stuart Ferguson's sending off and claimed the decision swung the game in Elgin's favour.

Campbell said: "There's no doubt the sending off changed the game. It was harsh and never a red card. I just don't understand bookings these days.

I would get booked in the warm-up now."

Robbie Williamson's side stormed into the lead on the hour when Ross O'Donoghue's cross was fired home by MacKay.

The Elgin gaffer said: "Even though we were one up we weren't comfortable and our opponents were still creating chances.

"But with Forfar down to 10 men the main thing was to secure the win.

"I'm pleased because this time last season we had no points."
