ELGIN skipper Allan Dempsie admitted his side were lucky to win.
The defender watched as Darren Shallicker netted his 10th goal of the season to keep Elgin's faint play-off hopes alive.
Shallicker grabbed the winner in 70 minutes after Michael Moore had cancelled out Ross O'Donoghue's stunning 30-yard strike.
Dempsie said: "It was a poor performance and we've played better but people are beginning to sit up and take notice."
Raging Sons boss Jim Chapman said: "Childish mistakes cost us and we lacked a cutting edge but we made chances and deserved to win."
