SUPERSUB John Baird's double kept up Montrose's play-offs bid.
They took the lead in 33 minutes when Gary Wood's cross picked out Keith Gibson who headed in.
Montrose's second came moments after Albion's Alan Reid was harshly sent off in 71 minutes.
Baird raced into the box only to be hauled down. He duly fired home from the spot.
In 83 minutes Baird broke clear to seal victory with a cool finish.
Montrose boss Jim Weir said: "It's always hard here and I'm delighted with the effort of my players."
Albion manager John McCormack added: "When we went down to 10 men we were up against it."
