EXPERIENCED striker Ian Harty has signed for Stenhousemuir after being released by Darlington.
The 29-year-old has scored more than 100 career goals during spells at Albion Rovers, Clyde, Airdrie, Raith and Stranraer. But Harty has struggled since his move to Hamilton in 2005 turned sour with the player transfer listed after a breach of discipline.
Stenny boss John Coughlin said: "I have read about his problems before he moved south and I'm giving him the chance to rebuild his career.
"We need a proven goalscorer and Ian has certainly shown that he can find the net."
